The Vision Recognised Research Group (RRG) is funded by the Research & Development Office of the Northern Ireland Health and Social Services Central Services Agency (R&D).
We provide a platform to develop and support a collaborative vision research network in Northern Ireland which is multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional.
The RRG comprises of key stakeholders in vision research from the Department of Health Social Services and Public Safety for Northern Ireland, Queens University of Belfast and University of Ulster.
We aim to advance the study of vision and visual disorders by consolidating links between clinical ophthalmology, optometry, visual physiology and psychophysics, and ocular molecular and cell biology.
The central theme of the RRG is to advance clinical care, research and education in vision science.
